Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Hiremium website and AI APIs (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

The service

Hiremium provides AI-powered match scoring and resume parsing over an HTTP API, together with a dashboard for managing your account, API key, credits, and subscription.

Accounts and eligibility

• You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account.
• You must be at least 16 years old and able to form a binding contract.
• Email verification is required before you can generate an API key.

API keys and security

Your API key authenticates every request and must be kept confidential — treat it like a password and never embed it in client-side code. Anyone with your key can consume your credits. You may regenerate or revoke your key at any time from the dashboard; regenerating immediately invalidates the previous key.

Credits and usage

• The Service is credit-based. Each successful API call deducts credits according to the published costs (for example, one credit per match score, and a higher amount per resume parse depending on whether vision processing is required).
• Credits are tied to your active subscription and its period. Credits do not roll over — when a subscription renews or is replaced, the balance resets to the plan's allowance.
• Yearly plans provide an annual credit allowance granted up front for the year.
• We may enforce rate limits (currently 60 requests per minute) to protect the Service.

Billing and subscriptions

• Paid plans are billed through our payment processor, LemonSqueezy, on a recurring monthly or yearly basis and renew automatically until cancelled.
• Prices are shown on our pricing page. We may change prices with notice; changes do not affect the current paid period.
• Upgrading to a higher plan starts a new checkout; on completion your previous subscription is superseded so you are not billed twice.

Cancellations, refunds, and free tier

• You can cancel your subscription at any time. Your access and remaining credits continue until the end of the current paid period; the subscription does not renew after that.
• We do not offer refunds for subscription fees or unused credits, except where required by law. Cancelling stops future renewals but does not refund the current period.
• As a fairness measure, credits are automatically refunded to your balance when an AI call fails on our side (for example, an AI provider error) — you are never charged for a failed result.
• We do not offer a free tier or free trial. A subscription with credits is required to use the API.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for unlawful, discriminatory, or harmful purposes, or in violation of applicable employment or privacy laws.
• Submit content you do not have the right to process, or that infringes others' rights.
• Attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, overload, or circumvent the Service, its rate limits, or its security.
• Resell or redistribute the Service in a way that competes with it, without our written permission.

AI outputs and disclaimer

Match scores and parsed data are generated by automated AI systems and are provided for informational, first-pass triage purposes only. They may contain errors and must not be the sole basis for any hiring, rejection, or other consequential decision. You are responsible for reviewing outputs and for compliance with laws that apply to your use, including anti-discrimination and data-protection requirements.

Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, and content, is owned by Hiremium and protected by applicable laws. You retain ownership of the content you submit; you grant us a limited licence to process it solely to provide the Service.

Data and privacy

Our handling of your data is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

Limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hiremium shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the three months preceding the claim.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms or misuse of the Service. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. The "Last updated" date above indicates the latest revision.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable at our principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
